I was born in Brescia, Italy, in May 1983. I started drawing as a child and after high school, I attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Brera, where I get graduated in 2008. After a couple of years in London, in 2016 I moved back in Italy, where I’m currently living and working.

I mainly paint people: thousands of self-portraits, friends, relatives or faces from music’s magazines. My favourite technique is oil painting, because the final effect is softer and smoother than any other kind of paint.

My final research is probably mostly introspective: painting is my way diverting attention from everyday life and focusing on my unconscious feelings. The images become simple aesthetic inspiration, to express what words would not be able to say
